adult technique, choreography & performance

These classes run for 7 weeks with no classes on Bank Holidays - Monday 5 & 26 May 2025

Adult Technique, Choreography & Performance (TCP) will also have opportunities to share/perform in the Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms, outside of the weekly timetable. The class will have the opportunity to perform as part of:

• Autumn Term: End of Term Informal Sharing - Wednesday 27 November 2024
• Spring Term: NSCD Community Dance Platform – Saturday 29 March 2025
• Summer Term: NSCD Learning & Participation Annual Showcase – Saturday 28 June 2025

Led by Donald Edwards, these fun and creative classes involve a range of contemporary dance/ dance techniques and creative tasks/ processes, to develop your technical, choreographic & performance skills. The class works as a company exploring creative and choreographic concepts, working towards the development of performance pieces each term.

These classes are designed and appropriate for adults who:

• Have an existing understanding of contemporary dance technique and are confident in their dance technique
• Wish to work creatively and perform new work in a supportive, non-professional dance environment
• Attend our Adult Improvers – Advanced Level Contemporary Technique Classes or other technique classes of similar level
