Have you ever fixed a TV?

Have you ever walked naked outside?

Have you ever really liked a politician?

Have you ever pretended to be someone else?

Offbeat, funny and poetic, Hardly Ever is a delightfully inventive look at truth and falsehood, in the theatre and everyday life.

Combining improvisation, speech and music, four performers test the gaps between actions, intentions and words in a series of increasingly surreal scenarios:  "Do you believe in what I say or what I show?"

With costumes and set design straight out of the 70s-  part kitsch tiki lounge, part Wes Anderson film set,  Hardly Ever takes us to places comforting and strange, bizarre yet familiar.

“an ever more complex performance of setting up and overturning expectations”  - Artslandia, Vancouver

About the company

Established in 1999 by Francesco Scavetta and Gry Kipperberg in Oslo, the company has produced over 20 works, touring extensively to Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia. Throughout their career the company have sought to create works that explore the relevance of theatre and performance to contemporary life, dealing with fragility, paradox, empathy and surprise, whilst striving to avoid narrative cliché. Their works often have a humorous, dreamlike quality, where reality and identity become blurred. In 2014, the company received the prize for best dance performance in Croatia for Surprised body project-  Zagbreb
