The award-winning 1979 film All That Jazz is a semi-autobiographical drama/fantasy classic. Directed by Bob Fosse, and starring Roy Schneider and Jessica Lange, it depicts the road to death through a showbiz lens, inspired by Fosse’s feelings of impending doom following a heart attack.
All That Jazz won the Cannes Film Festival Palme D’Or and several Academy Awards.
This special screening is followed by a discussion on power and exploitation in the dance and film world.
