NSCD is offering the exciting opportunity to complete a placement with Jasmin Vardimon Company from March – December 2021. Open to graduates from 2020 or earlier, the placement is run as part of the MA Contemporary Dance Performance Professional Placement Scheme (PPS).
Applicants must be either UK/Irish nationals, EU, Swiss, Norwegian, Icelandic or Liechtenstein nationals and resident in the UK before 31 December 2020, OR must have applied for settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Your application for the Jasmin Vardimon Company placement will also enable you to be considered for all other PPS participating companies as well as NSCD postgraduate company VERVE.

About the courseShortlisting will take place after each stage.
Stage 1. Applications close on Sunday 3 January 2021.
Stage 2. NSCD on-site audition on Mon 18/Tue 19/Wed 20 January 2021
Stage 3. NSCD on-site audition with the Jasmin Vardimon Company on Fri 5 February 2021
Stage 4. One-two week audition residency with the Jasmin Vardimon Company in Kent starting Mon 1 March 2021. An audition bursary will be available of £175 for Week 1. If invited to stay for Week 2 the complete audition bursary will be £410 to include weekend costs.
Offers will be made at the end of the audition residency (Fri 12 – Sat 13 March 2021).
Acceptances will need to be confirmed within 2 days. Applications for a Postgraduate Loan should be made promptly and will usually be processed with 5 weeks.
The placement will start straight after the residency on Mon 15 March 2021. A bursary will be available of £205 per week for 2 weeks from this date. There will be a company break w/c Mon 29 March, then the placement will recommence on Monday 5 April 2021 at which point you should have access to your Student Loan.

After completing the placement in December you would later join other NSCD students for the MA Research Project from mid-June to mid-August 2022 to complete the MA qualification (180 credits). Alternatively, you may choose to exit the MA programme after the placement with a Postgraduate Diploma qualification (120 credits).
