Societies
All NSCD societies are run by students, for students. Joining a society is the perfect opportunity to engage with likeminded people about things that matter to you. Societies offer a chance to be more involved with activism, to make new friends, take part in events and maybe even discover new hobbies!
Debate Society
Debating a range of topics in a range of styles, participants are welcome to share their thoughts or just listen in on the discussions.
Art Society
A calm and creative space to explore visual arts.
Wonder Society
A safe and inclusive space that discusses Christianity.
Tabletop Games Society
Creates opportunities for others to run their own Dungeons and Dragons games by providing support, a table, and some resources to get started.
Diverse Dance Forms Society
A space to explore a range of dance forms outside of, as well as, contemporary and the opportunity to train, battle and cypher with others.
Health and Well-being Sessions
Weekly well-being sessions with student mental health rep Jihan Belhoula.
Creative Writing Society
Offers a space to let your words, ideas and opinions come out in interesting and different ways.
Improv Jam
Student-led music and movement events that are open to all-year groups.
Eco Society
An events-based group that explores all things related to ecology and sustainability in everyday life.

The blog could include everything and anything: articles, interviews, poems, guides, reflections or even better, something that we haven’t yet thought of. I am especially interested in using the blog to recognize everyone at Northern as equals and as artists. (Maybe ambitious, but if it can happen anywhere, I think it’s probably here).
