BEN YORKE-GRIFFITHS

Dancer

Ben grew up in Hertfordshire and began his dance training at Let’s Dance Academy aged 5. He continued dancing at Sandringham School, and joined the resident youth companies at both institutions. Ben moved to London to attend Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with a First Class Honours degree in 2022.

During his three years there, Ben worked with choreographers such as Rahel Vonmoss, Tony Thatcher, Takeshi Matsumoto, Matthew Harding, and Charles Linehan. During his third year, he was involved in external projects by Max Gershon, JC Candanedo, and Shane Bradford.

I dance because my body seeks movement. For me, there’s nothing profound to it - I move because I can’t sit still.
