PPS Curriculum Lead Eric Assandri notes,

“Each participating company is looking for different and particular qualities and experiences relevant to the company; we advise you research your chosen companies so you know what they are about and what they might be looking for.”

Audition outcomes
  • All applicants from Stage 1 are notified as to which company auditions they have been shortlisted for.
  • Stage 3 interviews typically take place immediately after Stage 2 recalls and candidates are notified on the day if they have been selected for interview.
  • Offers are made following each company recall audition, depending on when the company notifies us.
  • Applicants who have not been made offers following the recall will either be placed on a reserve list (in the event further offers can be made) or receive an Unsuccessful Outcome. Please note some companies can accommodate reserve lists and others do not.
  • All candidates have 3 weeks from receipt of an offer in which to decide to accept

Important: If you receive an offer and accept this offer, your application/placement on shortlists for other companies or courses will be withdrawn. This allows an efficient and fair Admissions Process.

NSCD auditions all applicants and our audition process is designed to assess your potential as a dance artist and your suitability for our courses.  We welcome all applicants regardless of disability, ethnicity, gender, sexuality or religion.
