Saturday 9th March 2024 at Boston Spa Academy - Auditorium.

Glitch the little Robot doesn’t feel special. Not when compared to all the other amazing robots living in the Junk Yard. With the help of their best friend Shift, they decide to go on a quest to find the pieces they need to make them stand out and shine!

But will Glitch find what they're searching for?

Bursting with fun and adventure, this is a heartwarming tale of friendship and self-discovery for all the family.


Performance times: 1pm, 3pm

Running time: 60 mins (30-min show & 30-min practical workshop)

Age suitability: perfect for children aged 3-10 years and their grown-ups

This performance employs a mix of projection, dance, and storytelling. Children interact with the performers throughout the show and can participate in an engaging interactive workshop immediately afterwards.

The Greatest Robot Ever is a brand-new, rhyming story created by The Knotted Project and Hawk Dance TheatreThis production is presented at Boston Spa Academy by Northern School of Contemporary Dance and the Children and Young People’s Dance Network North, as part of their Children’s Programme. About the company

The Greatest Robot Ever is a collaboration between Hawk Dance Theatre and The Knotted Project; two North West-based companies specialising in creating work for Children and Young People.

For the past 6 years the two companies have worked together to develop unique productions that have toured extensively across the UK and beyond.

Their collaboration aims to bring exceptional quality performances to any space, that are accessible and inclusive for all. They hope to leave audiences motivated & inspired to be creative, and to value the role that creativity can play in their lives.

Previous touring shows include; The Chit Chat Chalk Show, Outside the Igloo, and Inside the Igloo, all supported by Arts Council England.
