"A perfect fusion of fun, rhythm, emotion and magic!" - Scottish Storytelling Centre
6 Feet, 3 Shoes combines dance, storytelling and foot-stomping rhythms to reimagine traditional arts and celebrate friendship across borders.
Featuring an international cast of all-female dancers, the show centres on a heart-warming true story about how three people communicated without words to build a friendship and make a home away from home.
The dancers are accompanied by musicians playing live guitar and fiddle, providing a feisty, percussive background track that brings the story to life.
Speaking about the work, Jen said: "The show started as my story of coming to Leeds as a young woman to study dance, and it's grown to become a story about the people I met then and am still close to now. It’s about how our cultures, brought together, have influenced our lives and changed us [...] Music and dance have been an essential part of that shared story."
