AUDITIONS UPDATE – 2020 ENTRY

With ongoing restrictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus we have suspended all remaining face-to-face auditions for 2020 entry. We are now asking applicants to audition by video, at home.

What this means:

• • Instead of attending an audition here at NSCD, or elsewhere in the UK, applicants are now asked to submit links to video footage as part of their application. Details of what we ask for can be found on our How to Apply pages (linked below for your reference)
  • Existing applicants affected by this change have already been contacted directly with further information
  • Deadlines for certain courses have been extended as a result (see below)

We have extended deadlines for the following courses to give you time to prepare, record and submit your video footage:

• CertHE Contemporary Dance - apply and submit your video links by 30 April 2020 
• CertHE Contemporary Urban Dance - apply and submit your video links by 31 May 2020

Applicants who were due to attend a late audition for our BA (Hons) programme now have until 30 April to submit their audition footage. Applications for our MA in Dance & Creative Enterprise close on 22 May 2020.

Please be assured that completing an audition in this way will not have a negative impact on your admissions outcome.  This route is already a very popular option for many of our overseas applicants. We understand that not being able to attend an audition in person may be disappointing, but we are committed to making this experience as positive as possible.
