NSCD HOSTS DANCE PASSION WITH BBC ARTS/ONE DANCE UK

We are thrilled to be one of four Dance Passion ‘hubs’ hosting performances from a number of companies as part of this year’s landmark event, bringing the best of UK dance to audiences at home.

A celebration of UK dance, Dance Passion is a collaboration between BBC Arts and One Dance UK filmed at ‘hubs’ across the country: Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Sadler’s Wells, Warwick Arts Centre and Theatre Royal Plymouth’s TR2.

Now in its second edition, Dance Passion shines a light on the country’s unique creativity and innovative approach to choreography and performance, in all its forms.

From Tuesday 1 March, tune in to BBC iPlayer and watch work performed at NSCD’s Riley Theatre including:

We are proud of all our alumni taking part across each of the venues, not to mention the films and interactive experiences that make up this year’s Dance Passion celebrations.

Available now, you can see the short film Flight, co-directed and choreographed by NSCD alumna Jennifer Rooney and Heart Land featuring alumnus Kai Tomioka.
