NSCD has achieved a fantastic 92% overall student satisfaction rate in the most recent NSS Survey - 9% higher than the 83% average for arts institutions.
The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, of which NSCD is a member, was given a 92% average satisfaction rate across its six member schools, placing it third in the nationwide ranking of arts HEIs.
NSCD performed particularly well in four main categories: teaching (91% ), Learning Opportunities (92%), Student Voice (87%) and Learning Community (95%). Each of these scores saw an increase on the figures for 2018 and 2019, showing that we are continually improving our offering in these areas year on year. This year, NSCD's scores for Learning Opportunities, Learning Resources and Student Voice were higher than the average across CDD schools.
At NSCD we pride ourselves on taking on feedback and adapting our offering to meet the needs of students and the wider industry. We are thrilled that our graduating students leave the School satisfied with the standard of teaching, opportunities and overall experience they receive during their time at NSCD.
