We are delighted to announce the full list of companies participating in our Professional Placement Scheme (PPS) in 2023/24.
Applications are now open to join the scheme. Undertake extensive professional development and refine your performance skills, as a member of an established professional dance company:
Tanzmainz* - Germany (apply by Sunday 11 December 2022)
Holstebro Dance Company* - Denmark
This postgraduate pathway is open to graduates of two/three year dance training programmes at higher education level, who would therefore usually be 21+ years of age, or to dance artists with some professional experience.
Applications close at midnight, Sunday 8 January 2023.
Please note: those who are interested in a placement with Tanzmainz must apply by the earlier deadline of Sunday 11 December 2022.
Stage 1 in-person auditions will take place on:
UK company placements are not available for overseas applicants without EU Settled or Pre-settled status due to visa restrictions. However EU and EEA applicants are welcome to apply for placements with companies not in the UK. All dancers are enrolled on NSCD’s MA in Contemporary Dance Performance (PPS)
