Statement from course leader Tiia Ourila

Tiia OurilaThis year we are delighted to increase the number of companies on board, welcoming Scottish Dance Theatre, Jasmin Vardimon Company and James Wilton Dance to the scheme. As companies around the world adapt to the restrictions of the pandemic, developing resilience and new ways of engaging audiences, I am thrilled to be leading a course that enables dancers to continue to gain real-world professional experience, whatever form that may take.

The breadth of work, styles and focus on the list is exciting, and offers dancers a great deal of choice. We continue to recruit the very best of today’s emerging talent, and are excited, as are the companies, to see this year’s applications.
