Casting for the World Premiere of Matthew Bourne's Romeo + Juliet has been announced and we are incredibly proud to see NSCD graduates and current students on the list. 6 students and alumni have secured coveted places with the iconic and ground-breaking British dance theatre company, representing some of the finest emerging male and female dancers from around the UK.
Joining the full time cast and making their New Adventures debuts are recent graduate Roisin Whelan (BA-2018) and VERVE 18 graduate Sharol Mackenzie.
Selected from over 1000 applicants are four current NSCD students, who will join the cast at venues across the tour as part of the 'Young Cast'. These are:
Alanah Corbridge - Access Diploma, performing at Royal & Derngate, Northampton
Bethany Curry - Year 2 BA, performing at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford
Jack Richardson - Year 2 BA, performing at the Norwich Theatre Royal
Pattarapong Chomchan -Year 1 BA, performing at the Alhambra theatre, Bradford
