VERVE is the resident company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance, comprising 18 exceptional dancers trained at some of the world’s leading conservatoires. Each year the company commissions work from some of the most innovative choreographers, and tours to venues across the UK and Europe. This year VERVE is delighted to present a visually striking and highly-physical triple bill of contemporary dance works by Matteo Marfoglia, Joy Alpuerto Ritter and (La)Horde.
For their 2024 tour, the company will perform across 18 dates at 13 different venues. The tour commences at Riley Theatre in Leeds on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd March, before heading to Salford, London, Doncaster, Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Harrogate, Ashford, Taunton and York.
This year, VERVE will also take their 2024 programme to Geneva, Switzerland, performing on Thursday 21st March in Festival Jeunes Ballets at Dance Area and to Bari, Italy, performing at Teatro Kismet on 22nd May.
