These classes run for 9 weeks with no classes the week of half term – Wednesday 28 May 2025
Improve your dance skills! Build on your existing knowledge of Contemporary Dance Technique.
These classes are designed and appropriate for adults who:
- have an existing understanding of contemporary dance/ dance technique
- are returning to dance after an extended period of time & need a refresher
- those who have attended at least 2 terms of Beginners Contemporary Dance Technique
- or whom wish to reinforce existing technique/ return to foundational training at a supportive pace
These steady moving classes will build upon your existing understanding of dance technique, through weekly development of technical movement phrases and a range of contemporary techniques. Whilst supporting you to further develop skills such as movement memory, co-ordination, musicality, strength, stamina, alignment/ posture and flexibility, through centre work, jumps and travelling phrases delivery.
Advancements/ modifications provided where needed, supporting individual learners to get the most out of classes.
