Discover art in unlikely places.
Collaborative Arts is a micro-festival of immersive performances and screenings from third year students at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, in collaboration with a variety of artists and venues in the City. Encounter diverse live performances from spoken word, to multi-sensory environments and gastronomic experiences.
Led by award-winning Australian choreographer Jane McKernan, students will give free reign to their imaginations, producing work with creatives from overlapping artistic disciplines.

Inspired by the words of J. R. R. Tolkien, ‘In Libro Silvae’ is an immersive, interactive installation where fantasy becomes reality. Walk through a world doesn’t usually exist outside your imagination. Transported to an enchanted habitat, audiences will be invited to explore with all their senses.
Created in collaboration with Kelly Smith, Ellie Williams and Leeds College of Music.
Directed by final-year NSCD students Emma Hopley, Francesca Perazzolo and Frances Shepherdson.

‘Who am I?’ is a multi-dimensional performance presented by Chanelle Harris in collaboration with LTC Visuals and The Corner Stone Music Group. Birmingham-based artist Renaye Antrobus has recorded an original song for the work, based on her response to the theme of identity. ‘Who am I?’ also includes spoken word recorded by Leeds-based artist Declan and photographs by Matilda Maginnis.

Thousands of prisoners created secret artwork during the holocaust to document the horrifying brutality they were subjected to. Brought to you by Kate Forster and Henry Ward, this thought provoking immersive experience explore Holocaust Art.
