Emergence returns with four adrenaline-fuelled works by Gosia Mielech, Kevin Finnan, Vidya Patel and Joss Arnott.
Gaga choreographer Gosia Mielech’s raw, authentic and passionate piece explores the idea of totality and what it means to live life in a total way. Kevin Finnan, Artistic Director of Motionhouse presents a physically-charged work, capturing the virtuosity of the dancers. Exploring Kathak-influenced movement and rhythms, Vidya Patel has collaborated with the dancers to develop a hybrid movement language. Joss Arnott completes the bill with Wild Shadows, an exhilarating, technical work featuring a cinematic music score and striking lighting.
Emergence is the postgraduate dance company of Joss Arnott Dance and the University of Salford.
