AOIFE HENDERSON

Aoife is a 21-year-old dancer from Aberdeen, Scotland. She has recently graduated with a BA (Hons) Dance (Contemporary) at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance where she worked with choreographers Ruby Portus, Feet off the ground, Joseph Toonga, Joseph Mercier and Imogen Reeve. She’s really interested in creating autobiographical work and she’s been enjoying learning about other art mediums and putting them into her practice. This year, she has developed a new passion for photography, especially enjoying the process of capturing movement through her lens. You may have also seen her bark on stage like a dog, try to eat audience members, lip-sync to Immaterial Girl, throw feathers in the air whilst screaming at the audience, flick blue paint on art gallery walls with her hair, walk on stage with an alien head and all whist never missing a beat.
