Clara was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and grew up in Porto, Portugal, where she began her dance training at the pre-professional school Ginasiano Escola de Dança, and continued her training at NSCD. During her BA, Clara had the chance to perform in works by Ruby Portus, Feet off the Ground, Joseph Mercier, Imogen Reeve and Fernanda Prata. During this time, she also worked as a performer with Kale Companhia de Dança, in Porto, creating and touring the double bill Unsettling Self + Tumulte by São Castro and Christine Hassid. She is happy to have the opportunity to share her passion and new experiences with VERVE.
