Luella grew up in North Yorkshire, where she trained at Phoenix Dance Theatre. Later, she moved to London and trained at London Contemporary Dance School, where she graduated with first-class honours. She worked alongside artists such as Hofesh Schechter, Maddog Dance Theatre, Frauke Requardt and Liam Francis. Later on, working with Bittersuite as part of a Christine and the Queens takeover at the Southbank Centre and working alongside Holly Blakey on several projects as part of campaigns and London Fashion Week.
Their artistry lives at the intersection of language, body, and space. She explores how words can ignite movement and how dance breathes new meaning into text. Drawing from her poetry, she plays with contrasts—delicate yet grounded, fleeting yet whole—inviting the intangible to find form in the body.
