Magdalena is a 23 year old performer and dance maker from Poland. She began her professional dance education at Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance in Munich, Germany in 2019 and a year later she moved to Leeds to start the BA at NSCD. In 2021 she did an Erasmus+ exchange at UiS Fakultet for utøvende kunstfag in Stavanger, Norway where she worked with Yael Flexer & Nic Sandiland and Haine Avdal and choreographed ‘tame/d’ in collaboration with Vilma Kärkkäinen.
Outside of NSCD, she performed at Sadler’s Wells in 'Hang in there, baby' by John-William Watson for the Young Associates platform. She works across disciplines always being motivated by the desire for experiencing feelings and sensations, while balancing between realities and dreamlands.
"I am excited to be exposed to various art disciplines and to connect with like-minded individuals and industry professionals. I’m looking forward to challenge myself and explore more of what hasn't been explored yet and therefore to start using the tools provided by this course in my own performance and movement directing practices.
