Marcus aged 21 was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Originally a keen rugby player he started his dance training later on in his teenage years. He trained at his local dance school Danscentre as well as local youth company Fusion. He later joined the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland where he toured nationally and internationally including a performance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023 as well as Tallinn,Estonia. He later joined the BA course at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) where he gained first class honors, throughout his time at NSCD he collaborated with artists such as Gary Clarke, Feet Off The Ground, Artichoke and Fernanda Prata.
