Southampton-born dancer Samantha Mould trained at Hampshire Youth Dance Company for 4 years and the Swindon Dance CAT scheme for 2 years before joining NSCD. She loved working with Phil Sanger, Patricia Okenwa, Eleanor Sikorski and Company Chameleon’s Anthony Missen. In September, she will be teaching young people dance in schools. She will also be focusing on the development of her own company, Mind and Movement Dance (established in January 2020), which focuses on improving physical and mental health through dance and mindfulness. She will be freelancing with the company and hopes to eventually become a qualified dance psychotherapist, helping others through the love of dance. She wants to thank her close family and friends for always supporting and believing in her.
