PASSIONATE ABOUT DANCE?

We need your help to bridge the gap.

As a Higher Education provider and an exempt charity, we need your help to continue supporting as many students and dance artists as possible. There are a number of ways to help NSCD and our students, from donations to sponsorship packages and gifts-in-kind to legacies.

Whether you’re a business looking for a local charity to support or an individual with a passion for contemporary dance, there are numerous ways you can get involved with NSCD. We open doors to dance for everyone through fun, accessible classes and workshops. The skills you learn through dance can equip you for life.

Student support

Our programmes produce exceptional creative artists who go on to shape the future of dance. It’s a demanding time in students’ lives, and the majority of students need support – with fees and living expenses, additional learning support or help with injuries.

“My mother was a dancer, and I danced and taught for long enough to know the great joy it can bring to you and others. As a means of expression it is incomparable – our bodies can say things that can sometimes never be put into words.

By supporting a scholarship I hope this will make life a little easier for a student to be able to concentrate more on the dance and worry less about paying for it.”

Nadine Senior Legacy Fund

Established in memory of Nadine Senior this fund supports talented young individuals to access dance education of the highest quality, regardless of personal circumstance.

Your generous donation will provide financial assistance for our students from groups currently underrepresented in Higher Education, including those who: have a disability, are from areas of multiple deprivation, are care-leavers, or those from under-represented ethnic groups.
