for schools, colleges, and youth dance groups
Do you work with enthusiastic and motivated young people aged 13-16 with an interest in dance?
Our free Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) Outreach workshops give students a taste of our extra-curricular training in contemporary dance technique and choreography. They provide the opportunity to work with one of our skilled delivery artists, learn more about the NSCD CAT scheme and build confidence through dance.
Workshops are approximately 2 hours long and are delivered by a professional dance tutor.
Workshops consist of the following:
Workshop availability is limited so we encourage interested schools to get in touch as soon as possible to express their interest in hosting a workshop. Free workshops designed specifically to help boys engage in dance are also available.
Talented students from the workshop are invited to attend our CAT Taster Days at NSCD, with a view to potentially attending an audition. No previous dance experience is required.
